Minor White photography is quite abstract, he gets really close to his subjects at times. He captures the focus of what people see in pictures but also combines it with his personal vision making people feel and wonder what he wants to capture. In some of his work he makes it a spiritual concept or tells a story. In the photograph above it looks like it can be a photogram and It has pigments of a leaf but the texture behind the leaf is also eye catching because of its abstract look that contrasts with the leaf itself. As for the second photo it is interesting because it looks like it has an eye and the abstractness it has makes it look like it could be a face. There is also a lot of things that is going on in this photograph that makes you look at it for a long time. Aside from the abstractness Minor White also take pictures landscapes, I feel that his style with landscapes makes you look beyond the photograph. The third photograph is interesting because how the trees and scenery surrounds the building and the texture it has.
