"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.  What you have caught on film is captured forever...It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."

Aaron Siskind's work mostly surrounded the abstract idea of photography. His work also consisted of textures, lines and some forms. He wanted to take pictures of everyday things and turn them abstract and the key thing of him doing this is that no one thought of this kind of thing before in photographing. In the picture above I see the texture that he took of the road and the cracks inside the white lines are what makes it interesting and also how it is open composition. In the second picture I feel that this one has more of a story to it because of the hand that is in it and the way the glass is broken. In the third picture I see more of the abstraction but by the way he combined the rocks together it is like they build something bigger and better together.
